The most important and comprehensive of ACI Venice Tourist’s itineraries will allow you to discover the ancient traditions of Murano and its glass art, of Burano with its fine lace and of Torcello, the first, historic Lagoon settlement, with its unique artistic and architectural features.
The motorship departs at 9am from our wharf at Punta Sabbioni to sail towards the islands of the Northern Lagoon, along the Treporti Canal (duration approx. 30 minutes).
Visit to the old centre of Burano, a characteristic fishing island with colourful houses.
Departure for Torcello, the first inhabited settlement on the islands of the Venice Lagoon, where there will be a stop for an optional visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (entry fee) and lunch in a restaurant with a special price menu.
Departure for Murano with a booked visit to a prestigious glass-makers and a glass-making demonstration with a commentary by an expert glass-blower.
Return to Punta Sabbioni. A panoramic tour of St. Mark’s basin and/or a visit to Venice can also be added.
