The Europa (VE 8388), is a ‘two floor’ vessel (two bridges on two different levels) with a capacity of 121 passengers (around 70 of whom inside) built by the Arnaldo Foschi Shipyard in Cesenatico in 1973 and completely covered in wooden planking. It has a length of 19.96 m and a width of 4.48 m., with a tonnage of approx. 24.85 tonnes and is a classic boat ideal for excursions and trips in the Venice Lagoon estuary (Burano, Murano, Torcello and Pellestrina, etc.) and for panoramic trips in St. Mark’s basin.
This type of boat is especially requested for parties with music on board as it is a motorboat with all comforts. It is ideal to hire for the Redentore Festival: a traditional Venetian celebration where an evening is spent aboard typical boats to watch the firework display in St. Mark’s basin.
The Europa undergoes all checks by Port Authorities and all visits carried out by the R.I.N.A. office for safety and seaworthiness.
Safety and comfort are synonymous with quality and this is why our captains regularly attend fire fighting, radar and first aid courses.
